Vegan Tzatziki made easy

Tzatziki is that popular Greek yogurt sauce with cucumbers and lots of garlic. In Turkey known as cacik.

It all stands or falls with the quality of the vegan yogurt. Now I have the best recipe ever I'd like to share with you. Quick & easy to prepare, and as great as non-vegan tzatziki for sure.

Try this with my Greek or Turkish recipes or raw veggies.

Is great tzatziki possible?

Yes, it is finally possible to prepare vegan tzatziki, that at least as good as original tzatziki made with dairy. It took me several years to be really satisfied with my recipe in progress. The most important ingredient is a quality vegan yogurt. I tried many alternatives, and found one that satisfied in the end: It is the soy-based natural yogurt of Alpro Soya.

You may know, cooking with soy products need proper seasoning, because soy has a neutral taste. Here comes that recipe, that makes tzatziki made from soy yogurt taste like tzatziki made from dairy.

I love my tzatziki with fresh olive bread the most.
